The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person captured in surveillance footage in the Byron area.
According to the sheriff’s office, the black and white image released to the public is an original surveillance image. A second color image was processed using software in an effort to provide a clearer representation of the subject and assist with identification.
Although the surveillance image was captured in Byron, officials noted the individual could be from elsewhere in Big Horn County or a neighboring county.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could assist investigators is asked to contact Deputy Justin Powell or Sergeant Jeff Angell with the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office at 307-568-2324.
The sheriff’s office has not released additional information regarding why authorities are seeking to identify the individual.
