The Worland Fire Department responded to three separate incidents between Aug. 24 and Aug. 26, including a rollover, a crash with reported injuries and a medical rescue from an elevated platform.
On Aug. 24 at approximately 12:57 p.m., firefighters were called to the area of 723 West River Road for a single vehicle rollover. No injuries were reported.
The following evening, at approximately 6:24 p.m. Aug. 25, the department responded to the area of Cardinal and East Parkway for a reported single vehicle crash with injuries. No additional information about the number or extent of injuries was released.
On Aug. 26 at approximately 11:40 a.m., firefighters responded to the 300 block of South First Street to assist emergency medical personnel with the rescue of an individual experiencing a medical issue on an elevated platform.
Cody Regional Health Ambulance, the Worland Police Department, Washakie County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Worland Fire Department and Wyoming Sugar staff assisted with the response.
No additional information about the individual’s condition was provided.
